A hickey is broken blood vessels. You can apply something cold to help with the bruising but the best thing to use is a cover up cream like one would use for dark circles. There are formulas that are very transfer proof and water proof. Clinique has a good one.
Hickeys are like hangovers;the best way to get rid of them is never to get one.

Try putting a spoon in the freezer for an hour or two and then putting it on the hickey.
Treat a hicky like a bruise or a hematoma, because that is what it is. Someone has sucked on you hard enough to rupture blood vessels. If you think about it medically it ain't so romantic is it?
BUT, just so you know most people have a tendency to not think highly of girls with hickies. They are thought of as sluts, hos, skanks, etc. If your boyfriend has any respect for you this will be the last time he puts you in the position of being labeled a whore.
I'm not judging you, just informing you.

A hickey is actually broken blood vessels beneath the skin. There is no "fast way" to get rid of a hickey. In fact, there is no way to get rid of one other than by being patient. Just as you cannot make a bruise on your arm go away quickly, you cannot make one on your neck disappear. Of course, you have a range of cover-up options, such as make-up, and creative uses of shirt collars, scarves, and turtlenecks. You may be able to disguise the hickey for a few days until it becomes less noticeable. Or, you can act like there's nothing wrong and be careful not to draw attention to the hickey.

Use make-up concealer over the hickey and if the hickey has been there recently, like under an hour, THEN put the spoon in the freezer and leave it over the hickey for a few.

Put a spoon in the freezer, let it get real cold, then put it on your hicky. Makeup that matches your skin complexion.
