Halloween party with a theme it will be fun for all of you.

Cat with Litter Box: Dress like a cat (black clothes, cat ears and tail). Carry a new cat litter box, filled with the following mixture: rolled oats and granola cereal mixed together, Tootsie Rolls (softened with water), and dabs of chocolate icing. Offer to your friends. Gross... but delicious!

Substitute Teacher: Dress conservatively like a teacher (hair up in a bun, skirt and sweater, glasses on a chain around your neck). Then, stick a paper airplane in the back of your hair, put a note that says "Kick Me" on your back, cover your hands and face with chalk, and put chalk eraser prints on your clothes. Attach staples and paperclips to your clothes, with broken pencils sticking out here and there.

Attack Dog Trainer: Take a stuffed dog and sew it to the arm of a long-sleeved shirt so it looks like it is biting you. Wear a name tag ("Bob's Attack Dog School). Add blood and scratches all over your body.

Martha Stewart: Wear a flannel shirt in pastel colors over a t-shirt, with loose khaki pants and comfortable flat shoes. Stuff gardening gloves in your pocket and wear an apron. Carry a fancy lined basket with fresh muffins and cookies inside. Handcuffs optional

Con Artist: White sweat suit with black stripes (using black tape, streamers, etc.) to simulate a convict. Add an artist pallet (cut out of cardboard and colored with markers) and a beret.

Kissing Booth: Construct a booth using two boxes, with the opening of the top box facing forward. Add straps so the boxes sit on your shoulders. Spray paint the boxes white and then use red paint to write "Kisses $1" and "Kissing Booth" on them. (You might even make some money!)

or get some other people to go in on an idea and do a big group costume like-

Wizard of Oz: Dorothy, Scarecrow, Tin Man, Cowardly Lion, Wicked Witch, Professor, Wizard, Glinda, Munchkins, Auntie Em, Uncle Henry, etc.

Nudist Colony on Strike: Everyone dresses normally, and carries signs that say "Nudist on Strike."

Cinderella and Her Ugly Stepsisters: Great costume for a work party if you have one woman and the rest are guys!

Peace, Love and Happiness: For three people: one person dresses like a hippy with a giant peace sign on their chest; one person wears red and white, with a giant heart on their chest; and one person wears bright yellow, with a giant smiley face on their chest.

Geek Squad: Everyone dresses like a nerd: pants pulled up too high, shirts tucked in and buttoned up all the way, white socks with black shoes, pocket protectors, glasses, etc. Everyone carries computer manuals

Rainbow: Have each person dress in one color of the rainbow (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, violet), then cover all visible body parts with face paints of that color. If possible, color hair also.

it's up to u but i would say a mix of both. u could make it like a b-day party wit a halloween theme.
if u have a halloween party or if sum1 else does then a greek goddess sounds like an interesting costume. it would be nice too. hope this helps. and by the way, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

Have a Halloween party too. These are fun. Then you can play dress up, eat cake, and everyone will bring you gifts! What's not a good idea about that?

If you're going to have a Halloween party too, make sure you pick a theme. Encourage your friends on the invitation to dress up to the theme, and make your cake to fit as well. Watch some scary movies and so forth.

You should throw a Halloween costume party, but with a twist. Instead of having the usual black and orange color scheme, try red and black. This would look very chic if done right. Instead of Greek godess, try Greek princess. Pretty much the same, but a little less pagan. Hope this helps!

I love Halloween parties!
You will have MORE FUN with a theme party.

Have a couple games too. Not juvenile ones.
For my son's birthday (15th) we had my older son deal blackjack for chips. If you got blackjack you would win a $2 bill and the one with the most chips won a Target Gift Cert.
We also had the kids try to guess what time he was born and the closest got a gift cert.
The kids loved it.

If you have a Halloween party, you have to buy two suits. Cheaper to just have a regular party.

Hold out and have it on Halloween! Do a costume party and play spooky/gothic music. Not the lame mix CDs...

Serve lots of stuff that looks like blood!
