Absolutely. This is all part of the consumer mania the retailers try to engender among people. Especially women because they are the ones inevitably who are going to have to make sure everyone is happy at Xmas. he proper time for the decorations to appear is the first week in December. We should ignore this pre Christmas onslaught and keep cool until December 1st. Just start saving now ready for the bargains which will appear on December 18th.

No, why should it bother you. Some people like to shop early for decorations so now they are able. I'm not one of them but seeing the stuff in the store definitely doesn't bother me although if there's a reeeaaallly good sale I might by something.

I work at a department store. The Christmas stuff started coming in in July, actually. It's rather ridiculous.

It's always too early to see the decorations and start hearing the crap music. christmas is a sham, anyways.

yes it is too early, but why not take this opportunity to buy something christmasy every weekly shop and put it away until christmas and then when christmas does eventually come you wont have much to buy.

I prefer to see them just before Thanksgiving.
It's way too early. We have two other holidays to celebrate B4 Christmas.

Yes, I think so, unless it is a shop that sells materials for arts and crafts, like Michael's.
