Due to something called dosage compensation, only one X chromosome in the woman is fully active (the other being referred to as a Barr Body).............so much for the theory of women being twice as intelligent.

I believe you are misinformed.
No-one has mapped a specific gene or group of genes on the X chromosome to intelligence in humans or any animals.
Sex-linked defects in brain chemistry and sensory perception have been found on the X chromosome. The theory goes that women tend to have fewer problems developing their intelligence because that have an additional X chromosome which can make up for any default in the other. Men do not have this backup system.
Some have gone as far as to theorize that this is the reason that more males are at the ends of the intelligence curve (both at the very bottom and at the very top), while women tend to cluster near the middle.

No one has "proven" that intelligence is solely on the X chromosome.
But even if it is, men have an X chromosome, along WITH a Y chromosome. So they would have at least 1 copy of that gene as well.

If you had paid attention in school you would know the answer to that question. One question that has nothing to do with school though is, do all black women get their spandex and sweats from walmart for their big butts and fatter stomachs? You don't need to provide the link, because if you have ever driven by a walmart you would have seen this yourself. Yes I know my answer is pretty dumb, but no dumber than the question the woman asks about men's intelligence. At least we know not to marry "that type" of woman if you know what I mean.

Dude no intellegence is found in the brain mattery, the front and and the back part.
By the way the 23rd pair of the chromosomes is xy at men, and the other 22 pairs are XX you twit

Not exactly. It is thought that, for those genes for mental function that do occur on the X, men are expressing only alleles from their mother. Women, on the other hand, have two Xs, and are therefore "buffered" against bum alleles. So men are more VARIABLE in their mental function than women, producing more geniuses but also more idiots.

Everyone has X chromosome.
Male = XY
Female = XX
However, I'm not aware that that intelligence is related to X chromosome. Statistically speaking, most inventors are male, so according to logic, that isn't correct.
No link provided, only common sense.

Women have two X chromosomes. Men have one X and one Y. I guess this means women are twice as intelligent?

Both women and men have 'X' chromosomes.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/X_chromosome
According to this women have twice the number of 'X' chromosomes as men which would insinuate that women would be twice as intelligent as men if in fact intelligence is found in the 'X' chromosome. However, in fairness to other women us men won't hold your example of that against them.
