I have a rental house, and the tenant moved out. Somehow, my keys dont work in the lock. I obviously need to get in.

You might be able to drill a small hole and use a dent puller. But I agree with the others and call a pro.

ive done this at least 20 times....... most deadbolts have two long screws holding the lockset together on both sides of the door... start with a sharp 1/4" bit and try to aim where you think they might be on the inside. or find the same lock elsewhere and compare where to drill. then get a 1/8" bit and drill directly on the end of the screw/bolt tip.. you can see them with a flashlight.. once you get them started dont stop. your basically spinning them out backwards.. this works 99% of the time..then get a screwdriver and turn the inner mechanism to unlock..

Depends on the grade of lock. I`ve drilled lesser grade deadbolts with a 3/8 inch bit and opened them. But if you have a better quality lock you probably won`t have much success. But if you try this and fail you might really pissoff your locksmith[when you eventually call him]

Hopefully you know where they moved to so call or visit and ask for the key but if that's not an option, then get a locksmith to open the door for you!
