help i am just learning and the book i am learning from has really old songs in that i dont know. i can play stuff with just a e and d chords so far but want to practise those before i move on. so far i have got amazing grace and blowin in the wind. does anyone know any songs????

desire by U2, me & julio down by the schoolyard by paul simon ... lots of songs ... btw, this may be a little advanced, but you can transpose songs ... for example, if you have a song book with tunes using just G C D chords, you can replace all the G's with A, all the C's with D, and all the D's with E ... it'll sound pretty much the same, just a different key ... it'll work for C F G, E A B, etc. ... these are all the I IV V chords using a major scale of the first (I) chord ... hopefully I didn't confuse you ... good luck

The Ramones, alot of their songs have three chords and they're really simple.

try bang a gong by T-Rex... starts in E goes to A back to E then to A back to E then D then a then start over. its very easy... or you could try rock and role aint nois polution... almost all e an a but you do pick up the base g and don't forget about jonny b good, its all d a and e
