Black or white toilet seats in public restrooms? At home, soft or hard seats? Why?

I like the soft white ones at home. In public, they must be clean!

I prefer white seats so you can see if there is anything on it, and at home I like the regular old hard seat. The soft ones seem to tear and do not clean as easily.

White, so you can see if someone messed the toilet (which is NASTY) Then you can find another one that's clean. At home soft, in public restrooms, Hard

public toilets do not matter what color i wipe all before i sit, and at home i want a soft seat for my tushi.
