No he hasn't. It's not possible to "unite" America. They've been sniping at each other for over two hundred years.

Not sure about America but he sure has united all the terrorists throughout the world against US.
Well I do agree that Bush is defender of few American things. Few things that come to my mind is
- Haliburton
- Dick Cheney's bank accounts
- Chevron's profit
- And that arms company
And adding to it. . Not sure if Democrats or Republicans betrayed each other. But I think Politicians can betray politicians.I guess thats what politics is about.
But Bush betrayed the people of USA by lying about . . . (dont wanna write a book on it now)
That for sure is not what goverment is about.

No he has not untied America. He may have rattled the cages of some that are Anti-America and with any luck at all upset some illegal immigrants (although apparently not enough to make them want to go home). I would say the press is doing all they could to untie America by smearing their opinion all over the place and calling it news. What ever happened to reporting the facts and only the facts then letting Americans form their own opinions?

Bush should give up his arrogance in solving national problems. Many of his mentalities has lead the USA towards economic problems and divisions in the society in terms of self secureness. There should be felxibilty in implementing his plans giving preference and priority to general openion.

No he 'as not united America. But he has practically united the rest of the world against us -- or at least against our preemptive pushiness and aggression. Could we be expelled from the "Geneva Convention" for unsportsmanlike like behavior?

I do not want it to happen. If there is one more serious attack on US the country will unite under George Bush once again to give a befitting reply to terrorists with weapons they can not imagine!

No. GWB is a polarizing figure because he has strong conservative values and he is not the kind of man that seeks to appease democrats or follow their dumb ideas. (when they actually come up with some) This country is better off without liberal leadership!
