What do you guys think about this call. On the onside kick, not only did the ball clearly not go 10 yards before the Oregon player touched it, but, as the ball was on the ground, the ball slipped under OU's #9's legs and and OU's #23 got the ball. So the 10 yard scandal should't even be an issue. So what was the official looking for in the EMPTY pile and what could make the official just say "Oregon's ball"? It was clearly picked up by OU's #23. If you have the game taped or DVR'd, watch the live kick, not the replays because they never quite show it, but if you watch the live kick, you can clearly see it.

Here is a great view of the play and the ball slipping out.

OU should have won that game!!! That has to be some of the worst refing I have ever seen! Yes, I am on OU fan, but anyone could clearly see the bad calls!!! Not just the onside kick, which was touched by the kicking team when it was only 9.5 yards out, but the next play as well. The ball was clearly tipped and the penalty on OU shouldn't have been called. These have to be the worst refs I have seen in NCAA history!!! And yes, I agree. It shouldn't have made a difference if they weren't going to call it, because OU clearly got the ball!!! Thanks for the link. I think everyone here in OK is steaming. OU should have won that game, and probably would have had it not been for the poor refs they had that day. Check out www.ou.edu and look for the stuff on football. Even the papers in Oregon are saying they were bad calls!!! Thanks!!!

At the time the PAC 10 was afraid Nebraska would demolish USC, so they had to have at least one of their teams win. If this game was played after USC's it would have been called fairly. This really sucks for Oklahoma and esp. Adrian Peterson. He probably won't win the Heisman now that his team has a loss, so it'll probably cost him several million dollars over his professional career. Too bad he didn't have that money up front, maybe he could have bribed the refs enough to call an honest game.

Yeah, this really makes me question Oregon and the Pac-10. The refs should be fired and never allowed to be in football again, also they should request a statement from Oregon claiming that OU really won and if possible should forfeit the game.

I'm just wondering if the Oklahomo coach is still crying like a baby. Waaahhhhh. He needs to grow up! Waaahhhhh! It makes me sick to see a grown man act like that. What a damn looser.....You would think they were the first team to ever get screwed by an official. Waaahhhhh.........
