From a social science position why would anybody have 100,000 points?

It means something but I don't think it has bragging rights.

What is your theory?

Insane , Bored , etc , etc

Whats the point?

I suppose, according to Freud and/or Jung, those folks, who try for 100,000 points, are obsessive-compulsive. They're possessed, probably with "Sublimation" or channeling of impulses to socially accepted behaviors and they "unconsciously" pursue a lofty goal continuously. I'm possessed with some of this ego gradification, but, I'm not very consistent about it."

They are usually getting tons of Best Answers. The leader who has well over 100,000 points has about a 50% Best Answer rating....so half of her answers have been voted Best Answer. Other than that, it's just asnwering ALOT of questions.
