I would NEVER Apologize to these "People" until they apologize for all of the terrorist acts committed against the United States of America and the Christian and Jewish religions and the rest of the civillized world. The POPE made a honest and truthful statement about Islam.

Why not ? He has said something which has bothered a big community , which is more than one and half billion !!!!!
So, what's wrong if he does?
He is supposed to behave in a way which everybody will learn from him . He is supposed to be the best sample of a nice Christian human !
Sure he hsan't had any bad meaning , but still if he apologizes , doesn't mean weakness , it'll show his excellent understanding .
I think it is the time to forget all of these funny stories !
Muslim , Christian , Jew , Zorostrian or any other name , they are all the same !
The question is being a nice human .!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Political correctness pressure..,he stated a fact..,you cannot promote religion through violence. And the muslims are so angry at a simple fact that the muslim leader in somalia has now called for the beheading of the pope..,oh yes muslims are soooo peaceful..,if it happens that a muslim kills the pope..,muslims will feel our peacefulness just as they show it.God Bless the Pope.

The previous pope John PaulII promoted inter-religion harmony. It does not behove on a catholic head to get in to controversies such as this especially when thr environs are already so heated up.

He didn't apologize. What he said was that he was sorry the Muslims got so upset. That is not apology in my book. And no, he owed nobody an apology.
