You have to realize THEY have a problem not you!! You can't make someone like you....they either like or dislike you on their own cognition. What you do is be polite when you have to be around them and that's all. You should not allow them to be "in control" based upon whatever mood they happen to be in at the time unless you just happen to like it that way.
Most people will end up having more respect for you because you do not allow them to treat you this way than if you do! Just be polite but don't take it to the level of "friendship"....wave, smile, say "hello" but keep on moving when you encounter them.

You know what they say "There is a thin line between love and hate" and I believe that is SO true, because you can love a person so much and be angry at them which can easily turn to HATE considering the fact that you KNOW you still LOVE them so it makes you More angry inside in some weird day over some relationship problem. I know it's confusing but I hope it helps! By way I think that if your in love with someone I MEAN HEAD OVER HEALS and the relationship does not work out some people say you can be friends, NO that's impossible. Only if the relationship is MOSTLY based on SEX then you can be friends after, but when there is ACTUAL LOVE involved, pft, you'd end up killing the person faster than being friends with them. Well perhaps I am a freak. Good luck!

Honey, get rid of this person. They arent worthy of your friendship. They obviously dont know what they want. Love and friendship are unconditional. This is someone who likes screwing with your mind. Hate should never be a word we should ever have to use. Move on and pick someone who likes you for who you are, unconditionally. You'll be a lot happier. Good luck.

Whoa, flippey-doodle. Stear clear of folks who do NOT know their own mind. That kind of back-and-forth behavior is a nuisance and will likely bring you grief sooner or later. Bad company. Seek out persons more well-adjusted than this one. Dang.

Well, they probably don't hate you, but are frustrated that you haven't "spoken to them" or something like that. In other words, since they haven't gotten what they wanted, they're frustrated and take it out on you. Its their fault, not yours. All they have to do is approach you, right?
