? I've decided to quit my RN job, family out west are encouraging me to go out for 6 months, and work. I'm renting a nice place on river, but really there is nothing keeping me here. I will have to pay rent while out west. I have 1 friend here. Should I just go... so much prep.

GO......you are "young" no matter how old you are! See this move as an adventure & who knows what the good Lord has in store for you. You can't live life in the fear zone. If you don't like it, you can move back to your present location. :-)

Usually, by the time you're asking "is it time to go", it is.
Think of it in other terms. When you're 90, will you look back and be thankful you took the safe road? Or, will you be glad you took risks and tried something (even if it doesn't work out perfectly).
