Yes,ego and vanity are usually seen as a bad thing by most people.It's good to be proud of yourself,but it's not cool to brag.People won't have much respect for you.You should focus your energy on someone else other than yourself.

it could be. most people that brag a lot do it because they dont feel confident in themselves so they feel they have to say things to impress others
