I signed up for an on line group and my homepage has always been internet explorer, somehow it changed to yahoo and I didn't realize that the group meant everyone would be emailing me, I would like to somehow get off of it, can you tell me how to get rid of yahoo homepage please.

click tools->internet options...on the top there schould be a box that says homepage.....type whatever home page you want...but that will not stop the emails...u need to unsubscribe to the group....there should be something to click on at the bottom of an email....

Look at the top of the screen, click tools, click internet explorer, and where you see a bar with www.yahoo.com, type the address for ie's homepage - www.msn.com or whatever it is.

If it keeps changing back to yahoo every time you start your computer or use the internet you might have a virus or spyware. Try running your anti-virus. Another good program is Ad-Aware by Lavasoft which is pretty good for spyware. They have a free edition, though without some features in the full version, it's still pretty effective.

Go to "tool", "internet options" and change the homepage in the "general" tab.

well.. to get your old homepage back.. click on "tools", "internet options", then on the space provided.. write the url of the website you want.
