Do you really think that there is life on other planets? I've seen many science books, and they show that there are \ millions of galexies out there. C'mon...the earth can't only be the only place where there is life out of millions and trillions of other planets in different galexies. I am sooo interested to know what it's like on other planets...other worlds...galexies...Does anyone feel the same?

No doubt about it!!!

If we are in a medium sized star system just imagine the big guys production level!

My wildest imagination includes that: there are actually highly evolved living species that actually can defy the laws of gravity, perform all types of mass moving transportation, live in complete harmony with all surroundings, and still watch I Love Lucy!!

well if you are religous, then there is at least a heaven out there somewhere, and if you are scientific, they know several planets that have had, or may have water on them, that would seem like even some organism no matter how simple, would be a good bet to show up somewhere. Just because we can see things far away, still doesnt put into perspective just how far away things might be.

I go back and forth on life out there. I remember reading one of Richard Dawkins book and he made an analogy of saying that if the odds of life were nearly as good as four people being dealt bridge in the same game, than we should've had radio contact from thousands of worlds by now. Life is very unlikely and there were a lot of events in the history of this planet that needed to occur to set up the environment for life to occur.

I too believe that there is life on other planets. It is very arrogant of humans to think that Earth is the only one. However, I don't believe that life on other planets would resemble Earth's life. They would have different environmental factors that would effect their evolution. They may not even be carbon based. Remember life can be one celled organisms, plants, reptiles, anything not just human.

I'm kind of thinking that we will be visited in the near future. It is very likely that we are being closely observed by several different civilizations. I've read that the space station astronauts see UFOs in space every day. Perhaps with so much tension in the world today, we are literally on the brink of self destruction. They may be here to save our necks from nuclear annihilation.

I think there is life on other planets. However our generation will not be the one to see it. NASA plans to send people into Mars in 2020. I think it will take 200 more years for the first human colonies to settle on Mars.

If the odds for life on another planet is 1 trillion to one, then at least three other planets have life on them.

Think about that now.....

Honestly.... i dont know...i just think that its kinda selfish and biased to think that we are the only ones in the Universe.....the earth is so small in size compared to the rest of the universe..

If there is something else out there...no one will ever know untill we find them.....or they find us....
