I'm not sure what the purse is made of. I have already cut the tag out. Some type of soft vinyl. I know it isn't leather. It is soft dull texture - not shiny and smooth. I have put it in the sun, I have sprayed it with lysol spray and I have put it in a baggie with fabric sheets and it still smells. help!

You can get the smell out by placing it in a smalll plastic bag, then placing it directly in the garbage can with a bigger plastic bag....And chalk it up to "you get what you pay for" reality test!

You get what you pay for. Take it back and get a decent purse. That will get rid of the odor.
