Drain the fluid,remove trans cooler lines,remove drive shaft,remove all wireconnections related to the computer such as speed sensor, remove trans and then replace in reverse order. Buying a manual for the correct vehicle will explain in more details and also supply you with pics as well.

I would go to a local auto parts store, like Auto Zone or Napa, and see if they have the repair book on your car. It will explain how to do both major and minor repairs. They are very helpful. Maybe you can find someone who would be willing to help you in exchange for something other than cash.
