Of course!! Think about it, blacks are looked down upon by everyone, and the second worse is being fat. People stereotype and judge people based on their looks. People are also shallow and want something pretty to look at. It sucks but it is true. Many black women, especially heavy ones are loud and rude/ghetto so people discriminate against them. I'm not trying to be mean or rude just honest. It is all in the personality though. Put on a smile, and people will change their preconceptions. A frown makes people thing someone is moody and mean. A smile makes everyone feel better.

All people are discriminated against in one way or another.. no matter what color you are. And contrary to popular belief white ppl.. are discriminated against also.. OMG reverse discrimination.. someone is going to b*tch at me for that one. ;) Seriously though.. I used to be overweight and people treated me differently. It was really bad in department stores. Now ppl. are more than willing to help me and talk to me. It sux, but it happens all the time.
In answer to your question though.. A lot of black women that I have met who were overweight sometimes seemed to have more of an attitude problem when there was no cause for one. Maybe its overcompensation.. I'm not sure. That could be one reason for differential treatment.

Wow I guess since I am a thin black female I haven't been discriminated against and in case you hadn't noticed the majority of women on welfare are white. That's right last week at your family reunion at hot dog water trailer park, that cousin you had sex with is more likely to be on welfare than anyone. Sorry for the dose of reality I heard it doesn't mix well with crabs!

i'm a black woman, and that i have on occasion been discriminated hostile to by employing regulation enforcement in spite of the undeniable fact that this is infrequently, i will admit that. in reality this is uncommon. probable because females frequently don't have interaction in very volatile and hazardous behaviors for the most section. not almost as a lot as men. I recommend, if something we are made to sense scared each and every of the time. you in a lot of circumstances listen "do not bypass out by employing your self," be careful, 'do you want someone to stroll you for your automobile?" So, we are not fairly socialized to be doing the flaws that make human beings favor protection from harm. If something this is the different.

Yes, but Oprah kicks b---! Of course, she is not on welfare and doesn't have 12 kids by 12 different "babies daddies". If she did, she would definitely have some problems.

"Everyone is discriminated against". Possibly. But not everyone is oppressed. Oppression takes discrimination and power. Privilidge. And this, right here, is some oppression.
