This is a very ambiguous question. There is a science called behavioral science, which is the study of how people behave under specified conditions. For example, how people behave in a crowd, alone, and so on while under threat of some natural or man made disaster is a common area of study for behavioral scientists.

However, in general, behavior relates to cause and effect; where effect is the behavior of something due to something else causing it. The stock market's behavior is an area of frequent study. What causes the market to go up, down, and around? If that could be determined, a lot of people would get very rich off that knowledge.
