The crazy liberals in Hollywood have all made Dafur their cause-of-the-moment.
WHY do they care about Dafur when they did not care about the atrocities committed against the people of Iraq by Saddam?

nocrooks - I am really sick of hearing about the atarving people in Africa - they should stop having kids. Pretty simple. Then - learn to work, invite industry, and grow crops so you can eat. Why do we send our stuff to China to get cheap labor instead of Afica - don't they want to work?

If we did go fight in Dafur, those same hypocrite liberals would turn against us and support the enemy.
That's what liberals do: encourage war, and then support the enemy.

Because in the case of Dafur it's poor blacks killing each other in a strategically unimportant part of the world - that is a good use of U.S. military assets.
Iraq is an oil rich country in a strategically important part of the world and Saddam was only killing his own people - that is not a good use of U.S. military assets.
I know, it makes no sense - but think about the main motivation of liberals - good intentions. Wait that doesn't explain it either, since Saddam gassed entire Kurd villages and would feed his enemies into giant shredders (while alive) and make their families watch. How about this - because Bush is involved with Iraq and not Darfur? I wonder what would happen if he sent troops into Dafur and things went well?

Dafur is not a 'cause of the moment'... It is actually a result of the tragedy of Rwanada, a spill over effect of refugees with hate still lurking. It is a result USA and the UN security councel when Romeo Dallaire, in 1994, again and again asked for help in Rwanada, always being turned down by the USA. He even asked for, and was denyed, air support by American planes from war ships that where a stone throw to where the genocide transpired. At the end of this tragedy, many Hutu and Tutsi fled into surrounding countries... Like the Congo- Dafur. And your in Iraq to save you cash at the oil pump. You could be in Dafur SAVING LIVES. Which is more noble? Which could have been entered with objectives clearly laid out and plan to leave that wouldn't take up to twenty years? Think about it, shit4brains...

We do care about what Saddam did to the people of Iraq. Saddam is out of power, a new government has been organized, mission accomplished. The President said it himself that we won. So why are we still there?? Shouldn't we be moving on to the next mission? Either the mission isn't accomplished, and thus the government lied to us about going into Iraq, or it is accomplished and the government is now senselessly having our troops die.

If conservatives are so compassionate about people in Iraq, why then would you ignore all the other people being killed and raped and tortured in the world by brutal regimes and dictators. Pakistan is our friend right? What about the North Koreans? What about the starving people in Africa. What about the people who can't get medical care here for things we can cure? Moral relativism? Hypocrisy is why. Liars, phonies and crooks is what you are.

What I really want is for you conservatives to explain why we didn't attack Russia back in the day, they were more dangerous than Saddam.
Bush with his cowboy mentality was looking for an easy victory just like when Reagan invaded Grenada.

They don't, it's just something they can talk about with impunity until somebody does get the guts to do something. Then you will see them bad mouthing that war too.Nothing is really worth fighting for in their "script", unless it's a good sound bite. They would all kill for one of them!!!!!!!

I think they should all go to Dafer and fight then. The liberals want to run the show. If its not their way its the whiny way. I give no value to anything coming out of the Hollywood crowd.
