I love to read books that are easy to understand and are about 200 pages. I like fiction or realistic fiction books.

Have you read the Narnia series? I'm not a young adult anymore but I'm working my way through the books.

If you're open to Christian fiction, the Left Behind series is more than 200 pages but is very easy to follow... AND, one of the two authors used to live in the Chicagoland area, so many of the landmarks they use in the book are real places that I live around or drive past on my way too/from work each day.

Watership Down
A Letter for Emily (just lent my copy to my mom)
The Princess Bride
