how does cultural factors contribute or influence your beliefs about the elderly?

what you believe to be the begining old age? and does media influence your beliefe?what difficulties do you feel the elderly face?and are there any positives aboiut growing older?

I think it has to do with the stereotypes that the elderly are slow-witted, senile, weak, and forgetful.

However, I see the elderly as people who have witnessed history in the making and as individuals who are full of good stories :)

Plus, there are 80-year-old marathon runners out there, too.
