I think catering is a wonderful thing, but you also have to be catered too. So remember that. Anyhow, I believe like everyone else make his favorite meals, wear the perfume he likes, become a seductress/mistress a like, praise him, and pet his ego when needed. Depending on the type of man you have all these little things should make him want to do the same for you.
One thing I use to do for my husband was give him a bath. I mean from the moment he walked in the door. I made him take of his clothing and led him into the bathroom with a candle lit. Placed him into a nice hot bubble bath with rose petals, epsom salt for the joints, and then I would scrub him and wash him. I washed his hair and then let him soak. He was definitely turned on and most definitely interested in anything I had to say. But my husband took advantage of this...and so please make sure yours don't either.

I dote on my husband. It's not for everyone. My husband is a person who believes actions speak louder than words, and he dotes on me too. You make him good, filling food. You make his plate, take his plate, get his drinks. You wash, fold, hang and put away his clothes. You baby him when he's sick. You rub his sore parts. You turn down his bed, run his shower or bath. Sexually, you do whatever it is you feel comfortable doing. Everyone's different. Now, I do all this, and I have a happy, happy man. And I say that I do all these things, but the truth is we do it for each other. You don't want to create a pattern where you do everything and he sits around!!!

Oh my God!!! Are you kidding me????? Do you really want to "cater to" your man?
You can certainly do things for him that will make him feel good, which in turn will lead him to do nice things for you, but CATER TO HIM??? Don't set yourself up to be somebody's lackey. He will not appreciate it for ever, but come to expect, and you will come to resent it! Enjoy your man for sure, but you do not need to spend your time and energy being completely devoted to his happiness. Get an outside life.

Make nice food for him and try to figure out how he sees things so in the times you may get confused or upset you can think to yourself. Oh yeah, hes not really into going shopping with me so I'll let him do his thing while I'm gone. I guess my point is that you gotta know how he thinks. But if its all give and no take then you straighten his lazy azz up :)

That depends why are you trying to 'cater' to him? To keep him around because he doesn't really seem interested or because he is soooooo good to you that you would like to return the favor?
