You will have to wait for about five years.
To grow apples from seeds you must not care about the end result (fruit). Apples grown from seeds bear little resemblance to the parent plant, the one that produced the apple you ate. Chances are your apple tree after 4-5 years of care and growing will be a good educational project. The fruit production will be good only to make cider, cider vinegar or food for wild life. Best to buy a semi-dwarf stock from your nursery for the particular type of apples you like. However, if you still want to go ahead with your project you must chill the seeds for six weeks inside some damp peat in your fridge. Then plant outside in springtime in a sunny spot.

You may have to wait 6-8 years more. The mature trees may be too tall for your yard (they may spread 20-25 feet). But most important, the apples will not be edible. Apples do not "come true" from seed. As someone else said, they'll be ok for cider or for making jelly.
If you are determined to keep them, make sure they are planted at least 25 feet apart. It might be a better idea to remove them and buy named varieties from your local nursery. Sorry.

reckoning on the variety, apple trees start up bearing fruit everywhere from 3 to 7 years. Dwarf trees often bear a sprint until eventually now. in case you plant a 2 365 days old tree, that's *achievable* it could have some end result the subsequent 365 days. yet oftentimes, you're able to be able to desire to have a sprint endurance with apples.

if it does grow it should take about six or eight years, however it will not produce the same kind of apple as the one producing the seed. it would have to be grafted with a piece of live limb from the origional tree to do this.it is not a job for a beginner to do and expect mutch sugsess..if you do try, do your homework before you begin.
