I'm considering buying a 3 year old home and was told that the husband died there...COMMITTED SUICIDE actually. That's the only info the realtor has...
HOW CAN I FIND OUT HOW AND WHERE IN THE HOME HE DID THIS? Is there any info that would be available to the public? I've tried everything I could think of on the internet: local papers, archived articles, coroner's web pages, etc...
ANY ADVICE??????? I'M JUST DYING TO KNOW!!!!! No pun intended!!!

You might want to check with the local library or police station. They might have old records/files about the previous owner. Also, this sounds very scary. If the previous owner committed suicide and died in the home, u might want to make sure his spirit isn't in the house. I'm a Christian, but I have seen spirits that have threatened families and caused trauma. So u might not want to move there just yet. I'm not trying to scare u, but check it out first just in case.

Neighbors would be a good place to start. I'm sure that catching the right neighbor would yield alot of useful information. You can also backcheck some of the archived newspaper obituaries. Good luck!!

well you could ask the police, or neighbours or ask a detective or something i suppose. I personally wouldn't buy a house that someone died in, which wasn't from natural causes - it would give me the creeps and make me feel uneasy. But goodluck with it!

There should be a coroners report, I dont know where you live but here is a link to Sacramento coroners web page where they can be ordered from: http://www.coroner.saccounty.net/reportsAndServices.htm#corinersReport

Police archives could be accessed and the address run for responses made to that home...that shouldn't betoo hard.

go to the police station and ask them if you can get an incident history compiled for that address. There may be a small fee but I think its do-able.

The neighbours, I lived in a house that had a suicide in it. The really creepy part is I knew the guy, I still think his step son killed him.

I would google the people's name who live in the house or google the address. Maybe something will come up.
