I struggled with acne for years and I finally found the solution that works for me. We have been fooled, tricked, deceived, and just plain lied to. It's time that someone put a stop to it, and everyone learn the truth!
Those of us who suffer from acne have usually been given 2 choices and neither of them work:
1. Over the counter remedies such as cleansers, creams, ointments, etc. These things have been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.
2. Go see a doctor and or dermatologist. They will generally prescribe prescription drugs which include topicals and or antibiotics. This, too, has been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.
I found a step-by-step program that cured my acne and it has never come back. It is amazing and doesn’t use any drugs or doctors. The truth is that acne can be cured…if we know the secret the doctors and drug companies don’t want us to know.
There is a great website: http://cure-my-acne.info/3daycure/ that has all the details. I really suggest you check it out and see if it works as well for you as it did for me.

2.5% benzoyl peroxide. It's in Neutrogena On-the-Spot and apparently there's some BP gel stuff that's available online (and is cheaper than On-the-Spot). Use a lot, and then moisturize your face, lest you have the unpleasant dryness of skin. It works on body acne too, just for the record.
I promise it works. Benzoyl peroxide is amazing stuff. And it's best in only 2.5% because any more than that just pointlessly dries up your face.
acne.org has the specific regimen. I don't follow it perfectly and I STILL don't have serious acne problems!

I tried Proactiv for 6 month's and as far as I'm concerned Vanessa Williams is a liar. I use Clean & Clear products now because they keep my skin smooth and they are really cheap. I have advised many people to use this and they all were happy with their results.

Baking soda and water. Give it a try it works wonders. I swear. I was on proactiv too for about 2 years and still have a lot of their unused bottles but lately it hasn't been working so I switched to baking soda last week and it works great. Go here and read what people have to say: http://www.acne.org/rate_item.php?item_id=209 Give it a try.

I always had problems with acne and I used everything. What really works for me are the Olay daily facials Hydrating cleansing cloths. I have not had problems since. I wash my face twice a day with the cloths and I rarely have any breakouts. They are wonderful. I also use an oil free lotion.
