The manager said we dance there at our own risk and they are not resposible for meds or anything. Is this true? She doesn't have enough money right now. Maybe if a lawyer reads this.......Thanks!

I would seriously talk to a lawyer. If she didn't sign any waver, bottom line is that she got hurt on his property, while working for him. You guys do pay kick backs right? Tell her to keep pushing it.

I would agree with what the manager said. The pole is stationary, so it's not like she didn't know it was there. It's her responsibility to know how to dance without getting hurt. If some guy came on to her and harassed her and nothing was done about it, then she'd have reason to complain. You can't sue an office job employer because you have carpal tunnel syndrome... it's kind of a risk you get by using computers all day. Imagine if firefighters sued their bosses every time they got hot or burned.
