These are lyrics to a song that is very special to me.

This is not a homework assignment. I enjoy posting these exercises and reading the great stories people come up with. This particular one incorporates the words to "Navy Blue and Gold." The song of the US Naval Academy...I am honoring my brother on the 2nd anniversary of hid death.

It's been four years since we were together in that rainy night. Do you remember our pledge by the bay? Do you remember the smell of wet dirt?
We joined as one, you and me, and all was made perfect. A couple of minutes, a flash in the vastness of eternity, yet for us it lasts forever!
Your blue and gold eyes, blue in their colour, golden in their sparks, reflected my dream and desires. Old tales may say that love is tragic, but I can always look to the stars and realize that the universe is just full of magic.

It was an old tale, one of many old tales. It was four years since we made that pledge, to be together in our Bay where as the sun set we could together marvel as the Gold of the setting sun encroached on the Blue ocean. There was always a point where they seemed to meet before darkness came along, but there was no sorrow for we were together by the bay, in accordance with our pledge and if the old tales were true we'd be together for at least another four years. We'd witness again the Blue and the Gold and we'd marvel at the beauty.
