I don;t think the perfect job exists (if it di mine would be 10 hours a week, home based, flexi at very high wages, but i digress)!

Unfortunatley we can see jobs we feel are perfect for us, and we come across idiots in the personnel department who weed you out for various reasons e.g. too much info, too little, more qualified than them, only take first 50, you didn;t dot an i or cross or t (jobsworth), not intelligent enough to understand how you hhave answered etc.

Also and unfortunatley nepotism plays a part in this, e.g. family/friend.internal promtion/just going through the motions etc

However we all get one in the end, some sooner than later, be sure of that. It is useful to call them for feedback if you re not shortlisted, and seek opinion of a professional (careers/job advisor) on applications if unsure. of course feedback from recruiters relies on them telling you the truth, and not giving lame tired old cliche's

believe in yourself, and you will get ther. We have all been though it. I find that all of suden you get a few offers at once, jobs are like buses.

Make sure that you do fit criteria for a job, and that you address it in application (they can tell when you just pasted on same old from other forms)!!

Good luck

An application form won't get you the job but it may get you an interview. try to make sure your application and CV is targeted to the job you are applying for rather than a generic summary of your skills.

Too many, unless you have a lot of work experience, confidence and skills to offer!
