I think the only thing that annoys me is when patients are rude. I treat patients with respect and expect the same.
Often, patients with m.s. have personality disorders that can be treated with anticonvulsants and psychotherapy. It is difficult to treat.

I'm a nursing student so I haven't really had enough patients to complain about anything in particular.
That Munchausen Syndrome has always interested me though! I am dying to hear about someones experience with it. Very scary stuff!
If you're in the health profession, best wishes!

What I do not like about Patients, when their are unfriendly, hostile and refuse to corporate.
I had once a Female Patient with "Munchhausen Syndrome"
Which is a Psychological Disorder.Patient telling you about their illnesses, which are not present.Their tend to wander from Hospital to Hospital or even have unnecessary surgeries.
Their is no know cure for this Disorder.

Im not a nurse but i am a nursing assistant and i take care of patients in a hospital..
The ones that annoy me the worst are the ones that come to the hospital because they are sick and then complain because the doctor wont let them go home...Didnt they come to get better?
We didnt ask them to come, they came for the help and then they dont want to be there...

I'm not a nurse but I am an EMT, and it is very annoying when people call us to their home for help and then proceed to tell us everything about doing our job. If they were so informed why did they call us they should have treated their self.
thanks for the chance to vent
have a good day!

the family. i got no problems with family who are nosey about the patient, that's their right to inquire about their love ones. but its those families who are pushy, those who act like they own you. like they pay me a gazillion dollars to take care of their wretched family member. its those that treat me like crap.
