I have had this issue for awhile and my man does to on his computer so its not just me. I cannot click on my yahoo messenger or it will auto log me out. I cannot click into an im box or it will log me out. I have to min then max the box to get the cursor there so I can reply to a message. Can't use smileys or anything because I will log myself out. I can only change my status by right clicking the messenger menu and choosing it that way bec ause if I just click my status it will log me out. VERY ANNOYING!!

I use it as part of my job so I can't just stop using it, I have uninstalled and reinstalled it several times and I have looked for an older version on yahoo to download but no luck. I wanted to report it to yahoo but couldn't find the address to do it, just kept send me back to their help section GRRRRRR

I work from home. I log in and out of work by yahoo because it lets my boss and the dispatchers for the company I work for know who is available to help a customer and who is not. I am not just playing around on yahoo during work, I acutally use it for my job. Thanks

Mark has a good point. However, one question is relevant. Are you logging into the messenger session at work at the same time that Yahoo account is logged in at home or on another work PC, such as with a broadband/DSL connection? It could be the two sessions are battling each other to maintain their connection to the Yahoo server. If this is the case, try setting up a separate Yahoo ID just for work use.

You could uninstall the whole yahoo setup including the base components in control panel->add/remove programs. Then reinstall it from here: http://us.rd.yahoo.com/csp/sbc/hp/nav/get_protection_footer/http://us.rd.yahoo.com/evt=32384/*http://sbc.software.yahoo.com/getcurrent. If that doesnt fix it, you could use the new msn messenger that is compatible with yim until you get professional help to fix it.

change your password because someone has hacked you or someone in it has found out and keeps logging you off.
