this is why i have problems with muslims. they insult us, and they dont care and we dont do anything about it. but when we insult them, its like hell froze over- chaos, protests, rallies and everything. their religion is ridiculous. and i am catholic. i support the pope. alqaeda also wanted to tell us y it hates us a few months ago. but bush said that theyre just evil or something and he rejected their offer. but alqaeda is cold blooded.

That so doesn't make sense. How can "the pontiff...been calling for a dialogue..." when he insulted the muslim people by saying that their origins are "evil and inhumane?" That's such propoganda bullcrap. The Chancellor has to try harder than that to defend the arrogant pope.
Oh, and to the first guy. When was the last time you've seen a true Muslim insult christianity? The ones you see on tv have either 1) misinterpreted the Quran as per the terrorist training manual on how to become psychotic idiots, or 2) the media has twisted their words around for propoganda purposes. Use your brain for once and don't let other people dictate how you think. The Muslim religion is one of the more peaceful ones in the world. They preach tolerance and respect for other religions which is more than what I can say about yours.

The only difference is that the Pope was quoting some ancient text (not even his OWN opinion) and the extremists will use ANY excuse to promote violence and hatred. The extremists on the other hand have ALWAYS called Christians evil and we've turned the other cheek.

Pakistan signed a peace deal with pro-Taliban tribes in Waziristan but Bush says you cannot make deals with terrorists. They are just "evil" and they all must be killed. But we cannot kill everyone. So what are our choices?

It's one of those "they can dish it out, but they can't take it" situations.
