i have a visa check card with my checking account at huntington bank...can i use this to buy things from online?

Some on-line vendors will accept them, some won't. You just have to try and see if it works.

Keep in mind that the protections that apply to credit card sales do NOT apply to debit card transactions! The bank is under no obligation to charge back purchases when there is a dispute with a seller if you use a debit card. Many will do this, but they are generally under no legal obligation to do so.

There is no difference between your debit card or credit card as long as there's the Visa logo on it; however, as a debit card you may not be protected by the same insurance that protects a credit card so it is riskier. Check with Huntington on their policies because each place is different. You may also want to make sure that you can read the CVV (3 digit code) on the back of the card because many merchants require it to process online orders.

of course you can....everyone accepts cards with a Visa logo on it.
