One of my faves, even though it shows Athena vindictively, is the story of Arachnea, the first spider. [but then what Greek God/dess wasn't vindictive, especially when it came to hubris?]

Athena is the patron goddess of weaving. A mortal woman, named Arachnea, boasted that her weaving rivaled that of the Goddess Herself. Athena took Arachnea's spindle and used it as a wand, striking Arachnea with it, and turning her into the very first spider, doomed to spin forever. This, by the way, is why the tern Arachnid is used in science to describe spiders, and their class of species.

Sorry I don't have a link for you, but it looks like you've gotten some from other forum answerers, good luck with your project.

Check for Athena and Poseidon battling for Athens (which Athena obviously won.) Also, the Golden Apple that Eris threw "to the fairest," which started the Trojan War.

She was in her own birth, from the head of Zeus. She features in the battles of the Iliad. Look for her also in the story of Arachne, Perseus and the Medusa, and many others. She was the patroness of Athens, and figures in the founding Myths of that city.

Do searches on those terms.
