huh? i don't get your question. but if you mean you want to transfer songs from your old laptop and its itunes to your new laptop-doing it with a usb cable?
don't know if you can do it that way but i do know you can connect the two comps through my network connections on your comp-then simply drag and drop the files you want-they'll show up in your shared folders.
but you need a different cable than the usb one. its a cable like the phone cable.

your question doesnt make sense. but n e wayz... the best way to do it would b 2 just use a usb flash drive. 2nd from that, burn the songs in mp3 format to a cd-rw. 3rd from that, open up an instant messenger program on both computers while your online and transfer the files through im.
there is a way that u could do it using a usb cable, but i never learned how to do it, so couldnt tell ya.

this is easy as drag and drop.
1.put the usb key in the (k) drive of your old computer
2. open itunes and open my computer/ k drive
3.drag the songs from itunes to the k drive window
4. to remove usb key, on the bottom right corner of you screen, there should be 'safely remove hardware' double click that. select the appropriate hardware you want to remove (usb mass storage device), click stop, and it should be safe to remove your usb key.
5. place ur usb (full of data) into your new computer,
6.open itunes and k drive window, drag and drop the songs on k drive to ! MY DOCUMENTS ! or any other folder that's in your computer. its very important that you move the songs to a different folder because you want the file location inside your computer, not your usb key.
7.open the files and voila

im pretty sure you need a special cable for that, one that lets you transfer documents back and forth, you cannot do that with a regular usb cable. sorry i cant find the specific product, but you might want to look on newegg.com and search on cables. Or you can burn all of the songs into a data dvd, if you have a dvd burner.
I found u one

I don't think there is any way to transfer files from pc to pc through a usb cable, you can try using a crossover cable and setting up a pc to pc connection through your network cards.

I use my flash drive to store my itunes music. I just import them by going to file import and they are in my library. They should still be in your flash drive when you import them. Or you can try copying them from your flash drive to your computer if you want as well. I can copy my whole file from my computer to the flash drive as long as it has enough room.
