Good luck, I've been workin on Hegel for 30 years now.
Continental philosophy was the English speaking European continent’s response to Hegelian idealism and was completely different from England and the United States’ analytic philosophy and its many offshoots. In Continental philosophy there were five schools of thought; existentialism, phenomenology, hermeneutics, deconstruction, and critical theory. Of these five two are most popular, existentialism and phenomenology. (Chapter 8, p.160)

The wording of the question makes it sound complicated, but it's not actually asking for that much.
What you need to do is show how European philosophy developed after Hegel's theory of idealism. Be sure to feature two movements: existentialism and phenomenology. Make sure to name specific philosophers.
So all you're really doing is a historical survey. Just write it in chronological order, and include the required details, and you're all good.
