Symbolism of the Egg

It has not been commonly noted yet that the egg is an ancient symbol of one of our spiritual energy fields, since spiritual energy fields are not yet accepted by main stream science.

The symbolism of the egg and its spiritual origin has been described in the book Der Sonnewneg by Dr. Bara H. Fischer-Loveland. She is probably the most knowledgeable scholar on the spiritual origins of symbols, after having done decades of original research. Her book is the first dictionary of the spiritual origin of daily life symbols.

One of our main energy fields, the aura, resembles an egg. When the aura is perfect, it is white or of a bright or pastel and clear color.

The Aura is wider around the head and more narrow at the feet, but surrounds the entire body like an egg.

Leadbeater published a book on the aura with images of the aura at different stages, Man Visible and Invisible. You may get the book at the library. This book contains images of the aura as seen by psychics. To see an aura or parts of it can be learned by about anyone within a few minutes. The Tesla-Kirlian camera relates the auric response of the densest part of the aura, closest to the body. Book: Rainbows of Life by Davis and Lane, showing many beautiful life energy images in color (you may get it from your library)

When we are emotionally unbalanced or physically ill, the aura may be out of balance in form and/or color, even shrunk or black. The healthy aura is a shield, warding off microbes, not letting us run into furniture, protecting others as the Germanic kings did with their aura, and giving us a "certain aura." Even when most people nowadays cannot see the aura, they still sense it.

The ancients knew the aura giving it its perfect symbol, the egg.

From the stone age, there are painted rocks, painted like some auras still look today.

The ancient Egyptians gave Ptah the task to make the World Egg (World Aura), which may have been a shifted symbolism to protect another energy field, one of the greatest spiritual secrets, from foreigners. The Russian egg, symbolizing the sun, may also have shifted meanings, for when the egg is cut at its "Equator," it shows a dot (egg yolk) in the circle which refers to a different spiritual energy field.

Connecting spring with the renewal of the aura made sense, since the birds lay their eggs in spring.

The spring festivals thus are to be understood as celebrations of the renewal of the aura, originally - not to there to celebrate fertility as now so often stated in other sources.

The oval symbol also stands for the aura. The aura is mentioned in the Bible.

If you look for symbolic eggs, decorative eggs, or just oval shaped jewelry etc., you may find many different styles symbolizing the aura, from all around the world, from about all cultures.
