No fun!
I have allergies so I end up with this malady often.
Forget surgery. It is risky and often causes other problems.
For me, the best meds are a dose of a 7day antibiotic.

I had sinusitis for a while, no hugely serious, but pretty painful and uncomfortable. One thing I will say, is that if you get a blocked nose alot, be careful if you use nasal decongestant spray. Don't overuse it - it can damage the cilia in your sinuses and stop them working permanently. I would see your doctor and insist on seeing a specialist. It's not worth trying to put up with it when you can get help.

Keep your head warm as well, if it's cold don't go out without a hat - just makes it worse.
