Witchboard. a movie about the Ouija board and a woman who uses it is possessed by and evil spirit. couldn't sleep for 2 nights

Mostly movies I saw when I was a pre-teen. Dimentia 13, Revulsion, the OLD "I know what you did last summer"
As an adult Im harder to scare. It takes a lot. I cant remember being really scared. BUT my favorite movie is "The Others". Not scary but I really loved the film. It's foggy and dark and has ghosts. Only thing missing was zombies. Plus anythign with Nichole Kidman in it is going ot be good

That would have to be the Wizard of Oz. I still have nightmares about tornados on a regular basis. The witch taking the little dog was pretty horrible too. Now that I'm all grown up I think the Hills have Eyes was pretty bad and who could forget The Texas Chainsaw Massacre?

The Shining with Jack Nicolson. The old woman in the bathtub is THE freakiest thing ever on film. The book is scary to read!

I think it depends on how old you were when you saw it.
When I was a little kid, "Haunting of Hill House" was really scary.
As a teenager, "When A Stranger Calls" was really scary.
I remember going to see the DeNiro version of "Cape Fear" with my girlfriend. She went to the bathroom, and when she came back she said there were women crying in there.
Despite people hating on it, I thought "Blar Witch Project" was really scary.
