Why is it that married men having affairs always seem to lie to their mistresses about not having sex with their wife ?? What motivates this??

Im not a married man of course but id like a stab at the answer..
Because women are for the most part the same, and they are afraid of upsetting the mistress with making her feel like he's cheating on her, same reason he doesnt tell the wife he's sleeping around with them lol.. 1 woman pissed is enough let alone having 2 women pissed lol..

I had an affair with a married man, i didnt wanna hear about him having sex with his wife because then it would kind of make me feel like he was cheating on me in a strange way, and also make me wonder why he was keeping me around

some married men still wanna play around with other girls.
they love their family so dearly that they just lie about their affairs and trying still to be a good husband and father.
but it's tragic how these affairs can ruin a family.
regrets upon regrets.
divorce.
emotional traumas on kids.
and the problem goes on and on and on.

well if you can say that hey you give me something the wife doesnt the mistress will be more apt to do other things and feels secure in her role. its all about manipulation and making sure the mistress and the wife both feel as if they offer something no one else can then they feel special empowered etc.

I'll bet he doesn't want the mistress to think he's a piece of s h i t, so he's playing the "good guy" card by making themistress think he isn't plugging both of them and is going outside of the marriage because his needs are being denied.

to make his self look like he's being faithful to her"mistresses" i think the last thing he would want is for her not to be able to trust him. LOL!!!

Deep down they know that they are doing something wrong and part of them is ashamed to admit that they are like other cheaters and are dogs sleeping and using 2 women.
