i downloaded the new version of itunes and instead of the normal itunes icon appearing there is now a white page with the corner folded over with a window in the middle of it. when you go into itunes it's fine but can anyone help me to get the proper icon back??

Right-clicking on the file, selecting "Properties" then clicking on "Change Icon" and selecting the icon you want.

I got the same thing when I installed it, the icon is that for Microsoft Image Viewer. Same for Quicktime too. :S

not sure you can, maybe try removing itunes and re-installing?
also do a search for a 'ipod volume fix' and you can download a free fix which lets you 'uncap' your volume.. better it is too..!
its called go-pod..
