Turtle wax works but if the CD works without cleaning it I would just leave it.
Some people use spit to fill the scratches each time they use a CD.
If you want to try the Turtle wax, you place a very very small amount on the CD, rub it in with your finger and then take a soft cloth or a very soft tissue and rub it off.
Good Luck

Rubbing alcohol and a soft lint free cloth will take care of some of the small stuff. It will not do anything for deep scratches though. You will have to use actual scratch removal products.

I use Windex or window cleaner to clean my cds. It actaully works.

I have tried rubbing alcohol but the Windex works better.

If worse comes to worse...go to the 99 cent store and buy a knock off version of scratch remover....its only a dollar!

Try going to a place that sells/ buys or tades video games. Sometimes they have disc cleaners and only charge like $3 for any C.D. to be cleaned and have scratches removed.

some say lick it, and then wipe off your spit. some say highlighter(idk about this one), and some say flush it in the toilet. but if you try all three, make sure to lick it before you do the other 2. (a friend actually told me that flushing it in the toilet works.)

good luck!

you could also search it and see what you find.

rubbing alcohol and dry it with a soft cloth that won't put tiny scratches in it.

or

see if your computer will read it...then burn another copy.
