This is not as simple as it looks. Kilogram is a unit of mass. A pound usually is a measure of weight (force). You can not convert one to the other. On the other hand, if you are referring to a pound mass then it can be converted to Kilograms. The English system of units uses the same word pound to refer to both weight (force) and mass. You must be careful.
An object that weighs a pound force on the earth will weigh approximately 1/6 of a pound force on the moon. On the other hand an object with a mass of 1 pound mass on the earth will have a mass of 1 pound mass on the moon.
