Mosaic Laws refer to ancient laws of what early civilizations determined as being unacceptable behavior. In religious and theological context it refers to the laws Moses gave the Israelites after he came down from Mount Sinai.

The site listed below explains this..along with the Code of Hammurabi, which is the oldest recorded legal law from ancient middle east civilization.

You just need to look in the Old Testament Books of Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy to find the Mosaic Law. They consist of 613 "mitzvahs", a code by which the children of israel were commanded to live by God. (He was in direct communication with Moses in those days!) They cover they way they are to worship, with whom they are to associate, how they are to relate to oneanother, what they will eat, what they will contribute both in goods and produce from their labor and much more more. The "Ten Commandments": were given by God to Moses on tablets of stone (twice, in fact) to show the people God's omnipotence. These ten commandments are merely a "kick-off" to the remaining 603 "mitzvahs."
Of course, in order to be pure, you had to observe each and every "mitzvah" to perfection. And, of course, no human being could do this successfully, not even the priests.
Not until Jesus came along! He was the only perfect person who ever lived (after all, He was God in the flesh who came to dwell among us, live like we do, be tempted in ever way that we are, and yet emerge sinless and blameless). He was the only one who could fulfill the Mosaic Law perfectly.
His sacrifice on the Cross did not cancel out the Mosaic Law: after all, the Law is perfect. It merely has been fulfilled in our time because of Jesus Christ's sacrifice for us.
Is that enough material for a homework assignment or what?
