Well the body of the helicopter is still, but the rotor blades are not, they are rotating fast enough to provide the lift needed to counteract the force of gravity on the whole helicopter.

it all depends whether you are inside the cop or out. If you are in, it will appear stationary irrespective of whether it is in motion or not. If you are outside it is in motion, at least partially..

u must first understand that motion is relative. it depends that which is the origin which u consider to be at rest. if u look at a "stationary" helicopter from standing on earth, its definately at rest. but if i look at the same helicopter from the moon then its in motion because i see the earth revolving around me. morover, if the helicop person is lookin at me standing on the moon, according to him i am moving along with the revolving moon. did u get my poit?
from ur ques it seems that we r taking "us" to be at rest. then ur helicopter is also at rest.

Helicopters can remain suspended i air in the same position..It won't be in motion in any direction .

It's hard to hold them ABSOLUTELY steady, but they are essentially not moving. The rotors, of course, are moving.
