I have a 3rd generation ipod, and i am considering buying a 30 gb ipod video, because of all the new features on it like video, photo, games, and longer battery time. Is it worth it for me to get the newer version, assuming I would pay about $250 for it?

i know its a good product for the money and it has good features but i already have a 3rd generation ipod, so is it worth upgrading to the new one even though i already have an older version?

Shut Up, Melvin, you dont know a damn thing. The new Ipod Video is the cheapest for the value out there right now. The new Ipod Video can play video for up to 3.5hrs (not like Malvin says). It's the "best for the bucks" right now. If you want to buy a mp3player with video right now, it should be your first consideration. Your second consideration is the ZenVisionM, but it's more expensive and it's not as new and hot. There's no other mp3player with quality video playback except the two. If you want, you can wait. Creative probably will have a better mp3 player for the same price soon.

uhh ipods arent worth it. theysuck and the osund is bad, if you want something godo go with the creative zen visionm. look it it up its better than an ipod. also yes upgrade form your ipod 3g to the zen vision m. its sooom much better the sound is better and the screen is better too. also is has more features htan the ipod. mic fm radio fmr ecording zoomable picture.4 hour video life and 262k color screen.

The video is basically useless. You can charge the thing to it's max, watch a 30 minute video and thing dies.
It's not worth it.

yes,the ipod is the best and it works great!it can store video,pics,songs!it will be worth it!especially if you need one for music and stuff!if i were you i would buy it!
