It seems a little weird to me too. If she has been real sick he could have wrote that the class missed her but to say that HE hoped to see her smile again and missed her is a little creepy. Does her parents know about this? They should be told and then hopefully they will go to the principal with this. It just doesn't sound like appropriate behavior from a teacher.

It sounds to me like a teacher being friendly to a student and nothing more. If there were something going on, he'd be wise enough not to put it on paper, and a lot more careful about cute remarks. Trust me. Those having affairs, are the ones that hide that type of behavior. And those on the innocent side, say silly things like that.

Your blowing it out of proportion. It's just a cheery note just saying to get well . I'm sure nothing is going on. But it would be a good idea to talk to her about it. You'll feel about it.

Yes, you are blowing this out of proportion. It's just a cheery note to someone who is sick. Appreciate the courtesy.

How old is the teacher? I would think that's a little weird too, but don't put too much into it. Ask her how he acts in class towards her and if does something again that you deem inappropriate, then it's definitely time to worry.

um it sounds like something i definatley going on...maybe u should check in to it. be open and honest and let her know that telling the truth now is better than u finding out later.

definitely weird...unprofessional as well...it's better to deal with this in a professional manner. tell her mom or dad bout the note and see what their reactions are.

It may sound strange, but I'm sure it's innocent. Don't worry.
