They both are very well done. I think the second one will be a little better due to the fact you can use your original saved game from the first one.

lego star wars II:the original trillogy because # 2 has a better and more in depth gameplay and its longer and more fun =)

The second one contains vehicle, which it doesn't exsist in the first one....
You can edit your own character on the second, you can't do so in the first one...
