Well there are alot of factors that can contribute to her playing ability..
take into acount her build..
does she apear a little overeight/ bigger or does she have a more muscular figure? because you have to remember that muscle wieghs more than fat. However..about 75 pounds is the average wieght for most 10 year olds, so i dont think it should be a major concern of yours.
And, as far as sports go, you should not worry about how skinny she is to play sports, sports will only improve her health, indurance, and appearence. It is good that she is intrested and involved, keep her active. Also, in sports before highschool coaches encourage getting better and get all kids invovled.
no worries..shes on the right path

At that age she should not have to worry about her weight that's how long term problems start, and to answer you question no I don't think 74--to 80 pounds for a 10 year old girl is fat.

No that sounds normal. It really depends on how tall she is. Fat kids can do the same things skinny kids can. They should do more to get exerise to get some extra pounds off them. She can play all thos sports without problem. Is she starts to get sick or run down take her out of some of the sports. Otherwise just let her do her thing. If she is puggy she will proabaly grow out of it if she stays active and eats right.

No, not really. That's really skinny to me. When I was in the 4th grade, I weighed up to 100 -110 pounds because of my big bones. Today, I'm in the 8th grade at 160 ponds. But that shouldn't stop her ability to play sports. It didn't stop for me and every year for gym class, everybody in my class would have to run a mile under 12 minutes but I still passed it.

It may not be that your cousin is fat since she plays all of those sports. Maybe she just has alot of muscle?!

If your cousin is happy then why are you trying to pin society's beliefs on her... If she plays all these things then I think she is happy and you should just butt out. Apparently you are the one with the problem not her..

playing all those sports has probably caused her to have tons of muscle, which is good!
and remember, muscle weighs more than fat!
